The importance of infrared sauna

Infrared saunas have many benefits that can help both your body and your mind, from improved circulation, to detoxification, to stress relief. It’s important to take time out from an often stressful and busy lifestyle, and listen to your body. Does it need rejuvenation? Does it need a break? An infrared sauna session may be just what your body needs.

The treatment works by using infrared rays which provide a deep and gentle heating effect in the muscle tissues and internal organs without undue burden to your heart. To cope with this heat the pores of your skin open and you will  perspire, discharging waste products like toxins, sodium, alcohol, nicotine, cholesterol and the potentially carcinogenic heavy metals like zinc, lead, nickel, cadmium, etc. This profuse perspiration deeply cleanses the skin and helps shed any old skin cells leaving it glowing with improved tone, elasticity, texture and colour. The deep penetrating heat also stimulates the heart to increase blood circulation to intensify metabolism and to help infections to heal more quickly.

Infrared saunas are also great for stress relief, and relaxation as just a few minutes in the gentle warmth of the Infrared Sauna will give you an overall massaging effect, soothing jangled nerves and knotted muscles. You’ll feel rejuvenated and renewed, restored in both body and mind.
